OUR HISTORY

Very Very Vertical

has been an established quality company in the business of window treatments. It was started by Leonard Tintinalli in the mid 1970’s along with his mother, Tina, who had been in the sewing and drapery business for many years. In the mid 70’s Very Very Vertical moved to the corner of Plymouth and Middlebelt in Livonia, Michigan where it stayed until Leonard’s retirement in 2019. Through the years, Very Very Vertical expanded to carry a full line of window treatments for both homes and offices.

In 2019, Very Very Vertical was acquired by International Building Products (IBP). IBP has been in business since 1946. It carries a full line of specialty, finish items and window treatments for the commercial construction industry. IBP is also a leader in the motorized window shade industry and has done many highly technical, unique and demanding motorized window shade projects. Both Very Very Vertical and IBP’s stellar reputation is a combination for success, allowing to fully service all customers no matter what their needs are in custom designed window treatments.

In order to better serve its customers Very Very Vertical has moved to a new location at 6240 N. Hix Rd, Westland, MI 48158, constructed a new showroom, has made improvements to its installation department, has increased its number of manufacturers available. All this, while still maintaining its one on one design relationship with its customers.
